I make a serious effort to ensure all posted freebies are legit, safe, offered by responsible and legal outlets, and do not require anything more than:
1) filling out a single form
2) a form and a survey
3) a quick phone call
4) e-mailing a request
5) picking up a freebie being offered at a store (such as a free can of soda).

Though some free stuff offers may require signing up for an account on the sponsor site, I will not post links to free stuff offers or sites where a purchase or other commitment is required.
I only post links to places who want to give you free samples. Free Stuff links are checked for spam, malware and scams, but this site and I are not responsible in any way for you visiting any free stuff links posted.

Always run virus protection, a firewall, and never, ever give out your social security number, credit card, or bank account numbers. I will never (knowingly) link to any site that requires any of these, and I highly recommend never completing any free stuff offer which requires them.

Freebie Tip #1 Junk E-Mail Account

Before signing up for freebies get a freebie e-mail account. You can set up accounts through hotmail, yahoo, google or any that you can find for free. Inevitably you're going to sign up for some freebies that are going to spam you no matter how careful you are. I like hotmail because they give you 35GB of space to store files. I have all my photos backed up on their skydrive. I have heard though that sometimes their spam protection works too well and won't let freebie websites send confirmation e-mails through. I haven't had a problem that I know of.

Freebie Tip #2 Freebie Phone Number

A lot of freebie websites require a phone number. I never give my phone number unless it is required. You probably don't need to worry about it with well known companies like proctor and gamble, or sites like that but with sites you don't know or haven't heard of I would be hesitant. Especially ones where you get the feeling they may want to sell you something or get you to sell their product. That's why I have a freebie phone number. There are a number of services out there. The one I have is listed below.

K7.net Unified Messaging. Your Own Free Phone Number to Receive faxes and voice messages you can check over the internet or on your home phone. I use it to fill in the freebies that require phone numbers.

You may be tempted to give a fake phone number or do 555-1234 but the companies are on to that and probably won't send you a sample.

Freebie Tip #4 Fine Tuning

You'll definately want to have your Google autofill working. Either that or a free program called RoboForm to automatically fill in forms so that you don't have to do it over and over and over...........

Stretching the truth to get what you want. If a company asks how did you hear about us never, ever tell them you heard about it through a freebie website. You more than likely won't get your freebie.

I also sign up for a lot of freebies is as if I am the person for whom I intend to give the freebie to.

Sign up for a freebie right away. I've seen freebies come and go within a couple of hours. You might think well, they have 10,000 I'll do it after dinner. It could be too late!! There's a lot of us hardcore freebie hunters out there and we don't just take one for us. We sign up our families too!!
